About Hu Qidao

Hu Qidao is a documentary director, overland explorer and automotive creator. His work follows vehicles, people and places, exploring how products are used and how journeys unfold.

His background includes OVERLAND: IMPOSSIBLE and bringing 4wdTV to China. His automotive and outdoor work combines first-person storytelling, driving participation and on-location interaction.

From a Trumpchi Yue7 off-road weekend to vehicle pickups, route challenges and gear in use, brands become part of real stories. A short film, route film, documentary or event project starts with a specific question and a clear deliverable.
